BELIEVERS LOSING BELIEF
It's out and it has been finalized. The Admiral, a solid MVP contender leading 2 statistical categories and second in a couple more, is heading to PEX_AWAMITS. Coming with him in this shock trade would be Big Momma Larry Johnson and John Havlicek. Changing places with him is the Superman Wilt Chamberlain with Dave Bing and Orlando Woolridge.
This is probably the most shocking and dumbest move that GM Totnak has done since the ever-famous benching of KB24 and KG in Derrick_Rose's All Time NBA league.
I can't comprehend, no matter what I do, why The BELIEVERS traded Dave then throwing in Big Momma and Havlicek in it. I wasn't able to get a sleep last night trying to figure out a sane reason for this trade. Granted, Wilt is Wilt. But is the mighty Chamberlain that valuable to be traded with a former NBA MVP, an offensive monster and a couple of defensive aces? In my book, he's not.
Let's try to analyze what this deal could bring in to the table for both sides.
For The BELIEVERS, nothing. I mean, statistically, the BELIEVERS are throwing away an average of 40+ ppg, 30+ rpg and 10+ bpg. Those are big numbers. And Wilt, in all his might and power, can't simply equal those figures. Yeah, yeah. Woolridge and Bing brings something with them. But having Steve Nash and Ron Artest in there simply negates whatever value those two tradeoffs would bring.
For the AWAMITS, this is a nice and intelligent move for them. They were able to solidify their roster. The Admiral and Big Momma is definitely a tandem to reckon with inside while John Havlicek could give them what Dirk Nowitzki failed to give in their first 10 games; valued minutes.
For the record, I run a couple of practice sims between these two and what do you know? AWAMITS mauled the BELIEVERS badly. Hopefully, Totnak won't go home crying at the end of their season.
